Rta Kapur Chishti began producing textiles of excellence in 1998 to revive and regenerate the ancient Indian craft of hand spinning and hand weaving. She is co-author and editor of Saris of India and founder of the Sari School which produces saris and organizes workshops and private classes for those who wish to learn the wonders of this unstitched garment and make it more relevant to their lives today. The designer Rta Kapur Chishti will be in attendance from 1 - 3 pm.
