Bonny Wise, Coordinator of the Jane Austen Festival in Louisville, Kentucky and Jane Austen Society member, will be speaking on the series, Poldark, based on the novels by Winston Graham. Bonny will be discussing her travel, research and interest in Cornwall, England and the Winston Graham series, Poldark, in particular. Bonny has traveled to Cornwall, been on the set set of Poldark, met the stars of the series and currently writes a blog called "Inspired by Poldark" regarding the area and its history. The Jane Austen Festival which Ms. Wise chairs and coordinates is a highlight of the year for Jane Austen and Regency Era enthusiasts. It is held each July in Louisville attracting thousands of visitors with its interesting workshops, expert and entertaining speakers, highly popular Tea and Ball. All activities are based on the Regency Era and the novels of author, Jane Austen. Ms. Wise is also an expert in Regency period clothing.
