Living Happier and Longer: Mental Health Awareness Series

Warmack Library

Grand Prairie's Warmack Library hosts a free program series in May, which is nationally recognized as Mental Health Month. Started in 1949, today thousands of organizations throughout the world support the idea of addressing mental health concerns early and effectively with a month of awareness and education. These library programs are free, and no registration is required.

At 2 pm on Saturday, May 28, "Living Happier and Longer" will be presented by Licensed Clinical Social Worker Zephyr Carson. Carson will show you how to live happier and longer, with an emphasis on fostering positive friendships, finding a sense of purpose in one’s life, combating loneliness with healthy relationships, managing stress, and developing healthy habits. Attendees will explore aromatherapy and make DIY Projects to take home- specifically a bath salt and hand scrub (while supplies last).
