The Bath House Cultural Center presents Women in Print, an exhibition curated by Susan Lecky that celebrates the artwork of sixteen local and regional women printmakers. An important goal of the exhibition, according to the Curator, is to showcase a variety of styles, techniques, and imagery. The Curator invited very diverse artists to participate in the exhibition in order to show the public the wide range of possibilities available in this medium. Etchings, woodcut prints, serigraphs, monotypes, collagraphs, linocut prints, and works that combine traditional prints and mixed media are presented in the show to communicate ideas and thoughts in both representational and abstract styles.
The Women in Print exhibition features artwork by Diana Antohe, Julianne Biehl, Dorothy Chabay-Dempsey, Viola Delgado, Jeanet Dreskin-Haig, Barbara Elam, Peggy Epner, Orna Feinstein, Elizabeth A. Holden, Ruth Forbes Litwin, Ann McIntyre, Jackie McLelland, Margaret Ratelle, Linda Ridgway, Terri Thoman, and Cecilia Thurman.
