Looking to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with Celtic fiddle and traditional Irish drinking songs? Then don’t miss former The Voice finalist Hannah Kirby at Poor David’s Pub! The Texas powerhouse alternative singer will go acoustic, covering Irish classics by the Dubliners, the Clancy Brothers, and Irish punk band The Pogues, and others.
Kurt Bittner, veteran lead guitarist and touring buddy of Charlie Daniels and Doug Kershaw, will accompany Kirby and her violin, as she will also perform tracks from her all original debut album “Fire in My Soul.” The newly released album is creating a buzz for Kirby’s commanding vocals and unique blend of rock, pop and folk- covering love lost, love found, and most stages in between. Concert goers of all ages should prepare for the energy that Kirby will bring to the stage by practicing rhythmic clapping and hooting noises to express their Irish joy.
