Dr. John Solomons, UTA associate professor of piano, joins the Fort Worth Civic Orchestra under music director Kurt Sprenger for a performance of George Gershwin’s “Rhapsody in Blue." The concert program includes music from Gustav Holst’s suite for large orchestra “The Planets” and Suite No. 2 from the incidental music to Ibsen’s “Peer Gynt” by Edvard Grieg. This free concert will be held on Saturday, February 27 at 7:30 p.m. in Truett Auditorium on the campus of the Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth.
