Read Aloud Hour is what it sounds like: an hour of enjoying the communal experience of reading aloud. We all love stories! Short, long, funny, sad. Stories are meant to be shared, so we invite your family to spend an hour at the Arlington Public Library on Sunday afternoons listening to a story unfold. There will be drawing materials and a "tinker" table for listeners that need to keep busy, but the main event is a selection of favorite children's chapter books being read by book-loving librarians.
Read Aloud Hour is recommended for families with children in grades 1-5, and is free and open to the public.
