Enjoy the film A Star is Born (1937) with an introduction from Adrienne L. McLean, professor of film studies at the University of Texas at Dallas. She will discuss the artistic elements of classic Hollywood films, the culture of early Hollywood as depicted in film,Thomas Hart Benton's artworks on view in American Epics: Thomas Hart Benton and Hollywood, and the significance of film during the 1930s and 1940s.
