Vetro Glassblowing Studio and Gallery, located in historic downtown Grapevine, is ready to help you celebrate Valentine’s Day this year – whether you’re looking for a night of family fun or taking your special someone out on a hot date. Both couples and families can create their very own Valentine heart or flower with the assistance of its professional glassblowers.
Want to add some fire to your romantic Valentine’s Day? Vetro is also offering the Flaming Cocktails Hot Date Night. Celebrate being the hottest couple in Texas with flaming cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, and hot molten glass! Each couple selects colors from the entire color palette of glass and applies the colors to the hot molten glass gather. Then the individual reheats the glass color in the 2,000-degree furnace (14 years old or above); he/she stays by the artist and watches as their heart or flower gets blown out. Each individual, per couple, receives two cocktails and complimentary water and soda.
Guests must be 21 years of age or older to drink alcohol. Plan about an hour stay for the whole hot date experience. Due to the annealing process, hearts and flowers will be available for pick-up the next business day after 3:00pm. The cost is $195 plus tax for each couple. Reservations are required – one reservation is equal to one couple.
