Explore early Texas art from statewide collections in relation to classic Texas films. We will screen a selection of Texas themed films to discover connections with the regional art, craft, and fashion of the same era.
Films include a 1920s silent picture, a 1930s classic western, and a 1950s technicolor musical! A short hands-on activity will follow making your own story board or movie poster for an imagined Texas film.
