Draw, paint, sculpt, collage and print as you learn the elements of art: LINE, SHAPE, COLOR, TEXTURE and VALUE. Little ones get exposed right away to artists, art vocabulary, and art material safety. Storytime, songs, and movement help to engage the littlest artist.
Parents stay for this class, allowing your child to build self-esteem and motor skills while warming up to the art studio. Parents and infant siblings get to know other families, sip coffee, and chat while art class is happening, occasionally being called in to participate. Once students are comfortable (and potty trained), they are welcome to join the weekly Kinder Art class, where parents can drop off for the hour.
