What is Wassail? It is just a fussy Old English word for hot cider. Check out the delicious Wassail recipes at the participating merchant locations around the historic downtown Denton Courthouse on the Square and beyond. Tasting begins Friday, Dec. 4th during the Holiday Lighting Festival. Wassail tasting fun will continue on Saturday, Dec. 5th.
Merchant participation will vary on each day, so make it a Wonderful Wassail Weekend and come sip and stroll through downtown. Wassail tasting is free and for all ages. You can still cast your vote on your favorite! Saturday the fun will also include some live music here and there on the square and beyond, as well as more Wassail stops to taste and select your favorite recipe!
