“Environmental Justice for All” Oak Cliff Earth Day April 16, 2023

The 14th Annual Oak Cliff Earth Day will be held on April 16, 2023, from 12 to 5 p.m. at Lake Cliff Park 300 E. Colorado Blvd Dallas, TX 75201

Oak Cliff Earth Day is a grassroots green festival, comprised of local volunteers who wanted to educate the community about protecting our planet. The theme for the 2023 Earth Day will promote the message: “Environmental Justice for All”. Earth Day stresses the importance of air quality, clean water, the food we eat and our quality of life.

It began in 2007.  In 2018, the OCED committee of volunteers partnered with GreenSourceDFW.org, a local environmental news site, and the Memnosyne Institute, parent non-profit support as a sponsor of this event.

Joining us will be speakers from EarthX, to share their upcoming event at the State Fair grounds.   Local politicos representing Oak Cliff will share the great neighborhood support for this event and the Oak Cliff community.

Sponsorships are an integral and important part of the event. Without which, this event could not take place. Sponsorship levels for this event start at $100 and help underwrite the cost. Dallas College, Earth X, Pennington Utility Construction, Good Space, Dallas Zoo, Dallas Sierra Club, Chad West, Methodist Dallas, Friends of Oak Cliff Parks, City of Dallas, Office of Arts & Culture, Dallas Parks and Recreation and Dallas Community Artist Program are 2023 sponsors at this date.
