Kick off your weekends at Sammons Park with these free outdoor events perfect for the entire family. Enjoy complimentary activities for children such as face painting, balloon artists, temporary arm tattoos, a petting zoo and more (activities depending on the day). Gather the family to play lawn games and a round of mini golf at the Reliant Putting Green. Cool off and splash around the Donor Pool. Our friends from Dallas Animal Services will be onsite with adoptable dogs looking for their forever homes. Bring your own picnic or grab lunch at the Center Café to wrap up an ideal family outing!

March 04: Kick off the day with a 30-minute kid-friendly Zumba class from Social Joy co-founder Martha Palacios from 10am-10:30am. Then, stay for an interactive outdoor bubble show from 11am – 11:30am.
March 25: Martha Palacios returns for another energy-packed 30-minute kid-friendly Zumba class for parents and kids from 10:00am-10:30am. At 11am The Que Pastas, a Texas-based kindie (kid+indie) band, performs an outdoor concert on the Sammons Community Stage that will have everyone singing and dancing.
April 15: In celebration of Earth Day, connect with local organizations and groups dedicated to creating a better and greener community. Kids can enjoy educational programs from local experts!
May 06: In collaboration with the Dallas Police Department’s Office of Community Affairs, we are kicking off Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month with a party in Sammons Park, with authentic food vendors, local artisans, organizations, vendors, performances and artist demonstrations. Check back for a complete event itinerary. Event Time: 10am-2pm (extends one hour longer)
