Sew A Japanese Work Apron Workshop


The Dime Store

Join us as well learn how to sew a simple Japanese work apron on Tuesday, Feburary 28th from 6-8pm!

These work aprons are simple projects that are great for cleaning, crafting, or just wearing when you are at home! This class is suitable for beginners. The skills we will be touching on in class are: sewing with bias tape adding pockets, in seam and outer pockets French seaming techniques. Tools, materials, pattern, and instructions will be provided for you to use in class.

No machine? No problem! We will have machines in class for students to use. If you have a machine at home that you would like to bring, we highly suggest you bring it so you can be comfortable sewing.

What students receive:

fabric and materials to make your own apron

borrowed sewing machine access by request

guided assistance from our knowledgeable instructorup to 2 glasses of wine, sparkling cider (non-alcoholic), or sparkling water to enjoy as you create
