Chamber Music Society of Fort Worth Presents Joy In So Many Words


Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth

The Chamber Music Society of Fort Worth presents the sixth concert of the series on Saturday, April 22, 2023. The Concert will be held in the auditorium of the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth, 3200 Darnell Street.  The performance will begin at 2:00 pm and be preceded at 1:15 pm by the highly popular Pre-Concert conversation featuring Gary Levinson, Artistic Director, and Laurie Shulman, program annotator.

A CMSFW ensemble is comprised of Gary Levinson, violin; Jordan Bak, viola; Michael Klotz, viola; Allan Steele, cello; Brian Perry, bass; and Alexander Kobrin, piano. New to the stage for CMSFW are Jordan Bak and Alexander Kobrin.

Violist Jordan Bak is already impacting the music world at age twenty-five. He is critically acclaimed for having a radiant stage presence and performances that offer dynamic interpretations and fearless power.

Cliburn fans will remember Alexander Kolbrin, the 2005 Gold Medalist, at the Cliburn Competition. Kolbrin has been called the “Van Cliburn” of today by the BBC, and his performances have been praised for his brilliant technique, musicality, and emotional engagement with the audience
