Submissions are now open for we are more, a multidisciplinary community art exhibit focusing on the agency of those who have experienced or witnessed family or intimate partner violence which will be held at the Patterson-Appleton Arts Center in Denton, Texas in May of 2023.
Submissions are accepted from November 1, 2022 to March 1, 2023. we are more invites artwork of all types (visual, literary, performance) that reflects the agency of people who have experienced or witnessed family or intimate partner violence. If you are unsure whether your artwork falls into one of those categories, or you have a piece that defies categorization, please contact us before submitting.
we are specifically seeking work from:
· those who have survived family or intimate partner violence
· those who have witnessed family or intimate partner violence
· those who love the people who have
· any combination of the above
Entries must be the complete work of the submitted artist. Kits or commercially designed works will not be accepted. All artists must be able to enter into a legal contract. All submissions will be considered for one of our pre-event pop-up shows, the we are more exhibit, or our online gallery. Please go to wearemore.org/submissions for complete guidelines and to enter.
