Teen Intro to Improv Ages 13-16


Stomping Ground Comedy Theater

Do you have a youngster who loves to clown around or one who wants to come out of their shell? Improv is great for both!  In this introductory-level 6-week class, students will learn games and basic improv skills that will help them be creative and “find the funny” with each other in a supportive environment. As a bonus, improv teaches valuable social skills and soft skills in a fun, playful way with lots of laughter. No prior experience is necessary to join in the fun and the class culminates in a live showcase on the Stomping Ground stage!

Sundays, 5:30-7:30 pm

We are proud partners with the Black Improv Alliance and the 100 Black Improvisers Initiative. Scholarships are available and spots are reserved for this program on a first come, first served basis. Please email [email protected] for inquiries.

Please note- if your child is age 13 but you feel they would be better suited for the Youth Ages 9-12 class please reach out to [email protected].

This is a 6-week in-person drop-in class held Sundays from 5:30-7:30 pm from October 16 through November 20. The instructor is Angela Wright-Vaughn. All sales are final. Classes are non-refundable but enrollment can be deferred to a future class. All students must adhere to policies in the Stomping Ground Student Guidelines. Stomping Ground adheres to the CDC recommendations regarding mask-wearing and social distancing. Classrooms and common areas will be sanitized prior to each class.
