Mocky Horror Picture Show Roasts "Mac & Me" at the Texas Theatre

Kick off the Halloween season with a truly horrifying movie on Thursday, Oct. 6!

The Mocky Horror Picture Show features three local comedians (Liz Barksdale and Albie Robles of Irving and Danny Gallagher of Dallas) take a classic, horrible movie and make jokes at the screen in an actual movie theater. The audience also gets to yell jokes and throw things at the screen with special prompts that appear throughout the movie timed to just the right moment.

Our next show at the Texas Theatre will feature a live, riff-along with the infamous 1988 family film dud Mac and Me, a straight-up rip-off of E.T. featuring blatant product placements of McDonalds and Coca-Cola and the most horrifying rubber alien puppet since someone left ALF a bit too long in the washing machine

The show starts at 9:15 pm on Thursday, Oct. 6 at the Texas Theatre at 231 W. Jefferson Blvd. in Oak Cliff. Tickets are available online for $14 per person and every person gets a free bag of mystery props to use during the movie along with some free Mac & Me and Mocky Horror swag.
