Love Texas Art, ArtspaceIII's sister gallery, presents Blinders, the first solo exhibition for Fort Worth-based painter, Jacob Lovett. In the series Blinders, Lovett explores the concept of truth and our individual journey to find it. He beautifully and delicately renders bronc and bull riders clinging to their opponent, both rider and animal in independent although tethered struggle. In a clean greyscale color palette against crisp white backgrounds, Lovett brings the terms Western and Modern together in each of his 20 oil paintings.
