The Sid Richardson Museum’s collection is home to five nocturnes, or night paintings, by renowned artist Frederic Remington. Painted in the last decade of his life, Remington’s nocturnes draw visitors into their Western scenes set under the shadows of night and the glow of moonlight. In honor of FWADA’s Fall Gallery Night, the museum has invited Fort Worth artist Kerri Menchaca to host a demonstration of her painting process for creating night-based landscapes. The event is come and go during the evening from 6:00pm – 7:30pm. No registration is required.
