Our annual Independence day celebration parade will take place the morning of Monday, July 4th, beginning at 11 a.m. from Wilkinson-Sanders stadium. The parade will go north on Townsend, take a left on Boydston, right on Fannin, and will conclude with a right turn on Rusk ending at Dobbs Elementary School. Join us so that you can see all of the wonderful patriotic floats in this years parade!
Our evening festivities will begin with a parachute jump and continue with a live performance by Southern Ride at Harry Myers Park! The show will begin at 7 p.m. on the stage just in front of Pickens Lake. Families of all ages are welcome to attend this free event.
The evening will conclude with our annual fireworks show…. Trust us when we say this is one you won’t want to miss!
