Summer Reading Challenge: Oceans of Possibilities


Irving Public Library System

Make a splash during the 2022 Irving Summer Reading Challenge! The theme is “Oceans of Possibilities” and the challenge is open to all ages: babies, children, teens and adults. Spend the summer days reading, connecting with the community and earning prizes between June 1 and July 31. Register, track reading, write book reviews and play games by going to IrvingLibrary.READsquared.com. All library locations also offer printed logs. The last day to redeem prizes is August 14 or while supplies last.

Join the kickoff parties and participate in sea-themed festivities at each library location at 2:30 p.m. on May 28.

South Irving Library, 601 Schulze Drive: Features an ice cream truck, crafts, balloon art, games, prizes and a sea foam bubble station.

Valley Ranch Library, 401 Cimarron Trail: Includes a trackless train, crafts and balloon art.

West Irving Library, 4444 W. Rochelle Drive: Includes a trackless train, crafts and balloon art.
