The images presented in the exhibition “Buckets” are to portray Christopher Knowles’ childhood which was to his the only way to bathe. With a bucket, soap, and an available hand towel. Growing up, in the summer and winter breaks Christopher remembers bathing with a bucket filled with water– him and his nephew would take turns. To keep the ground from becoming soaked by the hand towels dunked in the water, they would place newspaper underneath the bucket. This was their routine, Christopher thought it was normal.

Christopher Knowles is a photographer based in Fort Worth, TX. Using a keen eye he captures honest moments amongst social gathering and private moments with his family.
