Explore script lettering with calligraphy artist Andrea Tosten. Students will learn a quick and simple script alphabet and how to make an illustrated line drawing of a summer botanical. Andrea will guide you through drawing from her botanical specimens, or your can gather your own from home or nature walks and bring to class. Complete three line drawings and label them with your new handwriting style. Start your own nature journal and field guide to continue working on at home. This is a wonderful opportunity to experiment with a variety of felt tipped pens. End class with the skills to continue nature journaling into the next season!

For this workshop, you may gather materials from home or purchase these suggested pens from our online shop. We recommend a medium tip felt pen, a brush pen and any journal with smooth blank pages.
