Collage + Botanical Inks

In this workshop you will learn the basics of making a botanical inks from natural dyes and enjoy a brief collage art history lesson. Analise will cover ratios, proportions and recipes for making inks at home. Prepped and painted sheets of watercolor paper will be ready to cut into abstract shapes! Precut shapes will be available to help beginners move forward on their collage. Each student will leave with botanical ink swatches and a framed and finished 5"x7" collage inspired by the natural hues of botanical inks.
