Supporting Indigenous Sisters: an International Print Exchange Exhibition

“Supporting Indigenous Sisters: an International Print Exchange Exhibition” is presented by MMIW Texas: Rematriate and Artstillery in recognition of National MMIW Awareness Day. This exhibition was curated by Professor Melanie Yazzie, University of Colorado and Professor Catherine Prose, Midwestern University and features original prints by 16 women artists including Dallas artist Vicki Meek.

The exhibition will open with a ceremony on Thursday, May 5 at 7 pm and will close on Saturday, May 14 with a community conversation led by MMIW Texas President Jodi Yellowfish. The conversation will center on how to organize to be effective in getting law enforcement to prioritize finding of women of color who are reported missing.

All events are free. Artstillery is open on weekend evenings only. Doors open at 6 pm.
