Pastel Society of the Southwest's 41st National Juried Exhibition

The Pastel Society of the Southwest is a non-profit volunteer-run art organization located in the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex within Texas. We were established in 1979 to further education, appreciation for, and encouragement for the use of the soft pastel medium. We invite you to view our juried exhibition and be a part of our quest for the highest artistic excellence in the soft pastel medium. This year’s show will be juried and judged by nationally recognized artist Sally Strand, who will also conduct a free demo a multiple day (registration fee) pastel workshop.

GALLERY SHOW:  We are holding our 41st National Juried Exhibition in a gallery during the month of October at the Grapevine Convention & Visitors Bureau located in in Grapevine, Texas.  Viewing of the exhibit is free.    

CALL FOR ART:  This show paid almost $4,000 in cash and product last year.  Best of Show will pay $1,000 cash award and other prizes as available.  Qualified pastel artists may enter via OnlineJuriedShows.com with a fee for consideration into this juried show by August 1, 2022.  See prospectus for details https://pssw.info/exhibits/.  Award Ceremony will be held on October 2, 2022.
