The Planets in Hi-Def


Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center

The Dallas Winds, a five-time Grammy Award nominee presents The Planets in Hi-Def at the Meyerson Symphony Center on Tuesday, March 15th at 7:30 p.m.

Buckle-up for a ride through the solar system led by Artistic Director & Conductor Jerry Junkin. The band performs movie music from Star Wars, 2001 A Space Oddesy, and Close Encounters of the Third Kind. The big finale is Gustav Holst's monumental orchestral suite The Planets, featuring high-resolution photos from the Hubble Space Telescope projected on the big screen!  Special guest appearance by The Women's Chorus of Dallas.
