Artist Call: We Are Lewisville Photography-Based Public Art

As part of the public art plan for 2022 the City of Lewisville and the Arts Advisory Board seek to answer the question “who are we as a community?” in the context of visual arts with a project based in portrait photography. The working title for this project is “We Are Lewisville” and this call seeks an artist to create a photography-based installation that reflects a visual representation of Lewisville, highlighting the diversity of the City’s population. The resulting work should be displayed on some type of portable panel, with multiple units, which will then be displayed on a rotating basis in various indoor locations throughout the city as public art. The debut exhibition of the project and panels will be at the Lewisville Grand Theater Art Gallery, with exhibition dates of Sept. 23 - Oct. 22. 2022.
