Don't miss the Prairie Lights Holiday Lights Experience, featuring more than five million lights arranged in hundreds of festive scenes along a two-mile drive on the shores of Joe Pool Lake in Grand Prairie. One of the DFW area's favorite holiday traditions, this year's park offers brand new light installations and an upgraded version of the famous Prairie Lights grand finale animated tunnel, as well as the return of the park's Holiday Village, where you'll enjoy carnival rides, holiday treats, photos with Santa, and a stroll through the beautiful Lighted Walk-Thru Forest.
PRO TIPS: Be sure to allow plenty of time to enjoy your Prairie Lights visit (45 minutes-three hours, depending on when you visit). For a shorter wait time, consider visiting on a weeknight before school lets out, or after Christmas.
