This charming show takes a funny and heartwarming look at the struggle to find the spirit of the holidays. Featuring holiday stories and vignettes from the international best-selling author of All I Really Need to Know I Learned in Kindergarten’s Robert Fulghum. Garland Civic Theatre (GCT) presents “Uh-OH, Here Comes Christmas.” The show runs under two hours making it perfect for families of all ages to enjoy. Experience Christmas pageants that go wrong, hilarious and touching holiday weddings, and the joy and curse of poinsettia stories as they are creatively crafted into an engaging (and hilarious) evening of storytelling and song. Uh Oh! Here Comes Christmas runs Dec. 3 - 19, 2021. Fridays and Saturdays curtain time is 7:30 p.m. with Sunday matinees starting at 2:30 p.m. This show includes strobe and fog effects.
One-hour before show time, enjoy a visit with Santa! Free photos and candy canes are available. Holiday snacks and wine are available for donation prior to the show at the concession stand. GCT is proud to give back once again this holiday season by sponsoring a food drive at the Granville Arts Center. Non-perishable food item donations will be accepted before and during the performances. All donations will benefit the Good Samaritans of Garland. This organization feeds over 1,100 local families a month and they use everything they receive.
