To provide families with the chance to cook a Thanksgiving meal together at home, Dream Center Dallas is hosting a drive-thru event on Wednesday, November 24th at 3:00 p.m., until supplies last, for families to pick up a free Thanksgiving basket of food. The basket will include a turkey or ham, canned vegetables, and boxed sides for families to make. The event will be held in the parking lot of the new Dream Center Dallas building that is currently being renovated. The address is 1900 S. Ewing Ave, Dallas, TX 75216.
Families in the community that may otherwise not have a complete traditional Thanksgiving meal can pick up the basket to enjoy with their families for the holiday. No registration is required to pick up the supplies.
To be able to provide families in need with a holiday meal, Dream Center Dallas is hosting a donation drive and asking for support from the Dallas community. Dream Center Dallas is also seeking donations for supplies of canned vegetables, boxed mixes for Thanksgiving meal sides, and new winter coats of all sizes. Supply donations will be accepted from November 7th through November 11th at Church Eleven32 at 630 Rivercrest Blvd, Allen, TX 75002, between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
