Cedars Open Studios Tour 2021

19th Annual Cedars Open Studios Tour: November 20, 2021 | 11 a.m.-6 p.m., reception to follow

On Saturday, November 20, we invite you to the 19th Annual Cedars Open Studios (COS) Tour. Explore the studios, and workspaces of over 100 Cedars artists from 11-6pm, then join us afterward for a closing reception at 6pm at Lee Harvey’s 1807 Gould St, Dallas, TX 75215. The event is FREE and open to the public in the historic Cedars neighborhood just south of downtown Dallas.

In this annual event, visitors can experience live demos, view works in progress, and learn about the creative process from renowned artists such as Ken Craft who is the featured graphic designer of the 2021 COS. “We've lived in the Cedars for over 3 years, but I've been part of the community a little longer being an Ro2 Gallery artist”, Craft explains. “I walk around a lot, and nearly every outing leads to bumping into friends and neighbors and the circle of friends continues to grow and grow. This is what I love most about living in the Cedars.”

Explore the growing number of galleries, including Ro2 Art, Janette Kennedy Gallery, and the MAC, and learn more about artist residencies, programs, and collectives at art-centric locations such as Tin Ranch Artists Collective, Artists@1808, Studio Art & Soul, South Side on Lamar Artist Quarters on Botham Jean Blvd, and The Cedars Union Cohort 2.

Enjoy free performances and activities throughout the tour, including live music and painting demos. Wrap up the evening with a special closing celebration beginning at 6pm at Lee Harvey’s where musician Nicole Marxen will perform at 7pm.
