The Zines & Things Swap Meet returns for its 6th year – once again as an open-air meet-up. What happens when a zine/art party collides with a film photographers' swap meet? Join us from noon to 6 p.m. to find out.
Hosted on the spacious covered patio at Harvest House by Instant Film Society as a part of Day II of PolaCon 6, the swap meets offers IFS members and new PolaCon attendees a chance to show, sell or trade their instant photography-related personal works such as photobooks, zines, original Polaroid or Instax instant images, ‘small’ enlarged prints – no larger than 11x14 on tables for space, cards, pins or buttons, magnets and any other instant-film and instant-photography related creations. We already have a few of our regular PolaCon attendees signed up, as well as some Denton/Dallas locals, but we still have *plenty* of table spaces available. Bring your wares to show and swap, or just bring cash or packs of new or expired film to trade with other PolaCon attendees. (Some attendees tabling may take credit/debit cards, apps or online payment, but don't count on that. Safer to bring a little cash or film you've been sitting on to trade in the spirit of a swap meet.)Never tabled your zines (or other things) before? Don't feel like you have enough for a whole "table"? Because space will be limited, for folks with just one zine, a lone photobook, a single T-shirt design or a couple pin-backs, we’ll have a special ‘mixed exhibitors’ table so any PolaCon attendee can share and table something at the Swap Meet without having to reserve a whole section. (When you show up, just look for anyone wearing an IFS pin, and ask them to help you find Daniel, Andy or John.)Free to attend.

On the day of the Zines & Things Swap Meet: Show up early to reserve a particular table section. Tables will be clearly delineated. (Have a folding/card table?
