Let's Talk about Business and Art

Artists Enclave welcomes artists and arts patrons to the nonprofit’s in person special event with virtual coverage on Thursday, September 16, 6:30PM - 8:00PM CST, at downtown Denton’s Patterson-Appleton Arts Center. The Patterson-Appleton Arts Center is located at 400 East Hickory Street with ample parking and accessibility. There is no evening admission fee. Information on accessing the event virtually will be provided on the Artists Enclave Facebook page.
The Greater Denton Arts Council encouraged Artists Enclave to invite the general public to explore creative business models for artistic enterprise with a distinguished panel of Denton County visual artists and entrepreneurs: Kim Dietrich (artist, accountant), Glenn Harper (art patron, entrepreneur), Carolyn
Zacharias McAdams (artist, painter), Cathy Mitchell (artist, potter, arts educator) and Anthony Najera (filmmaker, photographer).
Panel topics will include business website and social media promotion, cultivating a customer/patron base and successful avenues for inclusion in galleries, art calls and festivals. Susan Carol Davis (filmmaker, actress) will moderate the panel discussion. Panelists will display art representative of their talents and business savvy.
