LUNAFEST is a short film festival presented annually at UTA, hosted by the Women's & Gender Studies Program. This year, WGS hosts a hybrid event: a live screening at the Maverick Activities Center, Lone Star Auditorium; and, a virtual screening. All tickets may be purchased online; those wishing to participate in the virtual screening will be sent a vimeo passcode link the afternoon the event begins (Friday, September 1 2021).
This year's short films selection includes documentaries about Women’s Euro-Arabian North Pole Expedition; AJ Andrews, the first woman to win a Rawlings Gold Glove Award, and more. Don't miss this annual film festival!
