Thrift Studio is a month-long pop-up featuring donated, high-end furniture, housewares, and accessories sold at significant discounts with 100% of sales benefit Dwell with Dignity (DwD).
Shoppers will find stunning vignettes curated by leading designers, showrooms, and retailers, showcasing the donated high-end furniture and home decor pieces available for sale at significant discounts. All proceeds will benefit Dwell with Dignity’s mission of helping families with children escape poverty and homelessness through design - one household at a time. This year, the designers selected include AF Home Interior, Chase Dowell Interior Design, Kara Legako Design, Mary Beth Wagner Interiors, Meredith Ellis Design, The Collective, Tori Rubinson Interiors, and Yates Desygn.
Since the concept launched in Dallas in 2011, the event has grown into a highly anticipated and can’t-miss event for DwD supporters, the interior design community, and the general public looking for a fabulous deal on home furnishings. Thrift Studio provides one-third of the operating revenue that allows DwD to change lives through design by bringing transformational home interior design services to those who can afford it the least. The nonprofit is dedicated to creating soothing, inspiring homes for families struggling with homelessness and poverty by providing and installing home interiors designed to make their new house feel like home.
The pop-up is open August 27 through September 25 / Monday-Saturday / 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. Closed on Labor Day, September 6.
In addition to the general event, Thrift Studio will hold several special events throughout the month. See information below:
- Thursday, September 2 - Candle making with Candle Ghoul. Thrift Studio will stay open late and host a candle making workshop until 7pm. All are welcome to shop late, even if they are not participating in the workshop. Workshop is $35 per person.
- Thursday, September 9 - Succulent arranging with Plant and Sip DFW. Thrift Studio will stay open late and host a plant and sip workshop until 7pm. All are welcome to shop late, even if they are not participating in the workshop. Workshop is $35 per person and a food truck will also be on site.
- Thursday, September 16 - Happy Hour with Dallasites101
- Thursday, September 23 - North Texas Giving Day
