UPDATE: 9/23/21: Friends of the heartland! We’ve made a tough call to cancel a small chunk of dates due to travel concerns specific to our family. We are canceling our October 15th Dallas show. WE ARE STILL COMING TO AUSTIN!
We’ve had a blast getting back on the road this summer and we’ve managed to stay quite busy traveling out and back for quick weekends. In order to make this longer string of dates happen, we would have to pack ourselves onto a bus with our toddler, putting her in a high-risk environment as the only unvaccinated traveler in a tight shared space with 10 people (rolling petri dish).
We truly appreciate all the venues’ willingness to put on a safe show, and we do believe we have the tools right now to play and attend shows safely. This decision is a personal one, and it's so hard for us to disappoint everyone who has tickets to these shows. We know you are ready to share live music and we are very ready to create it--nothing compares to a club atmosphere.
We hope some of you will consider joining us at Stubb’s in Austin on 10/16 instead, and we can’t wait to play all these new (and old) songs for you on the remaining dates this fall. For those who bought tickets to shows that are being cancelled, refunds will automatically be issued.
