Art of Discovery is a project by the Business Council for the Arts Leadership Arts Institute Dallas Class of 2021.
Art of Discovery is at the intersection of nature and art highlighting local artists who focus on the biodiversity of North Texas natural ecosystems. Selected art expressions, chosen by local galleries, are for sale through a virtual auction April 9th - 23rd. Featured local artists include Kana Harada, Heather Gorham, Ginger Fox, Jim Stoker, Carolyn Brown, Rebecca Shewmaker, Pamela Nelson and many more. Proceeds from the auction will support the artists, galleries that represent them, and the restoration of weary greenhouses at the Texas Discovery Gardens. This effort will preserve endangered species of plants unique to our region. The ultimate beneficiary is a prosperous and healthy native biodiversity supporting the health of people in our community.
