Love, Honor & Respect: A Tribute to the Indigenous Americans


This is an in-person event

The exhibition will showcase a series of unique portraits of NATIVE AMERICAN Chiefs, Healers and Elders on canvas. — the imagery depicting the Indigenous Americans in nature and native adornment. Also a inspirational story "Tale of Universe" polyptych that is a visual depiction of healing energy during these uncertain times. Kumiko is 75 years young, creating Art for over 50 years! She is a graduate of the prestigious Tokyo University of Art and began her art career in Dallas over 45 years ago. She has never had a solo exhibition...Until now... A loving mother to two beautiful daughters and four amazing grandkids. She is also the mother in-law to former Dallas Cowboy Bradie James. "Energy becomes color, shape and feeling. I decided to paint various people because their stories must be told, so their soul will be honored, respected and understood. I am simply a tool to speak to the people visually." -Kumiko
