The MLK Food Park, an experiential block transformation launching in southern Dallas’ historic Forest District beginning Friday, April 9 and continuing every weekend through Sunday, May 2.
The family-friendly event will be open to the public on Fridays from 6-8 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. MLK Food Park will feature a weekly rotation of food trucks and trailers, vendors, musicians and entertainers, all focused on providing a fun and engaging experience for neighborhood residents and the Dallas community. Working with the neighborhood to transform a formerly vacant lot into a thriving community gathering space, the MLK Food Park will also offer public art, sprawling greenspace with community flowerbeds, shady pergolas and a children’s play area.
