Max Kuhn: Photo Booth

We are luckily throwing in a new series by Max Kuhn who constructed and collaged a carnival take on the photo booth.

Our current exhibit opening February 27th brings a new series of work from Max Kuhn to the gallery in the form of the vintage photo booth. Whether through the carnival, penny arcade or stationed booth, for years people used the cheap photo booths to capture their images or images of couples, friends or family. Max traces through the various scenarios of the photo booth through his beautifully executed and collaged work. He even built a mini photo booth and various fashioned mirrors to prep for the photos.

Max Kuhn’s ROVING COWBOY giant diorama currently graces the center window of the gallery….make plans to come see it.

Exhibition is available online or in-person by appointment.
