The Texas Flute Society proudly announces its 44th Annual Texas Flute Festival, Friday, May 7, through Saturday, May 8, 2021, in a virtual format.
This year’s guest artists, Jennifer M. Gunn (Chicago Symphony Orchestra), George Pope (Professor Emeritus, University of Akron), Jennifer Grim (Associate Professor at the University of Miami Frost School of Music), Brian Allred (winner of the 2019 Myrna Brown Competition), and Yi Xiang (winner of the 2020 Myrna Brown Competition) will present numerous recitals, seminars, and masterclasses throughout Friday and Saturday.
Flutists (junior high school level and above) who are interested in performing in the masterclasses presented by the Guest Artists must apply.
