Nadia Soree, Harpsichord - Virtual Event

Lewisville Lake Symphony

Ms Soree began formal piano training at the age of six at the Manhattan School of Music and received her bachelor of music degree from The Juilliard School.  While pursuing her master of music degree at Rutgers University, she turned her attention to the harpsichord. Her professional life made a sharp turn when she embarked on a legal career, earning a law degree from Yale Law School.  She practiced in the Office of the Legislative Counsel for the United States House of Representatives, after which she joined the faculty of St. Thomas University School of Law as a professor.  In 2018 Soree returned to the harpsichord and is currently a doctoral student and teaching fellow at the University of North Texas.  Ms Soree will perform selections by the Baroque Couperin dynasty of professional musicians and composers.  Audiences can access the concert using the link at www.LewisvilleSymphony.org.
