DESCRIPTION
Put on your boots, saddle up, and join us in the barn for a baroque spin on fiddling tunes, cowboy poetry, and ranching history in an exhilarating portrayal of the American West. This virtual concert film production consists of contemporary footage of Texas ranch life, as well as historical ranching footage from the Library of Congress. Musical selections stretch over 300 years with sonatas, concertos, traditional fiddling, folk tunes, and 1940’s western swing and are accented by contemporary and historical film and photographs. A truly Texas ensemble of instrumentalists, vocalists and videographers are joined by Cowboy poets from Nevada, South Dakota, Utah, and Texas.
