A Grave is Given Supper

Latino Cultural Center

Written by Mike Soto
Directed by Claudia Acosta
Starring Elena Hurst

An immersive Narco-Acid Western told in a series of interlinked poems, we follow the converging paths of two protagonists through El Sumidero, a fictional US/Mexico border town where an ongoing drug war rages. The surreal verse of Soto’s poems is infused with the rituals of love & loss and builds a world saturated with a mystical aura that explores the desires of those who live in the borderland. Presented in an outdoor cabaret, refreshments, rituals, and a copy of the book of poetry are included.
A maximum of 24 tickets will be available per show.
