The Texas Triffid Ranch, Dallas’s pretty much only carnivorous plant gallery, has been running regular Sunday carnivorous plant porch sales through the duration of Dallas County’s lockdown, and now it’s time to wind things down for the season. October marks both the height of both color and duration on so many carnivorous plants, as well as their last hurrah before many species go dormant in November and December. Every Sunday in October from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, the Triffid Ranch shows examples of carnivorous plants from around the world, including Venus flytraps, sundews, butterworts, pitcher plants (North American, South American, Asian, and Australian), bladderworts, and triggerplants.
