Try your hands at art while you learn about history, geography, and culture. Each month, we explore a new topic, art medium, and historical concept, technique, and style. Multi-week projects are geared to suit a mixed-age classroom, allowing younger students to modify to suit their interests and abilities and older students to extend the core assignment to challenge themselves and grow as artists. We spend several weeks on a topic to enable us to explore processes, as well as complete and critique finished artworks. Our virtual classes are engaging, hands-on, and include group teaching, one-on-one conferences, as well as time to chat with each other and socially interact.

FALL 2020
Classes will remain virtual until further notice. We encourage pods and families to take advantage of our one screen group pricing (register as siblings). If virtual is not your thing, we are happy to put together supplies and some suggestions for at home creativity. We will also begin offering outdoor, private pod instruction, and physically distant family classes in October. Stay tuned and thank you for your support! If you have a class request, please let us know.

Virtual lessons How To: Your Class Kit includes the lesson plan and surfaces for each week. Parents should make space for art making and have clean up supplies like hand wipes and napkins near-by. After you register, a link to your ZOOM classroom will be sent along with a welcome email that includes more information as well as a time to arrange kit pick-up.

Items not included in your kit you'll need are a pencil, paintbrushes, scissors, glue, water jar/basin, color dry drawing medium (crayon/colored pencil/marker), apron, paper towel. Or purchase our  Home Studio Kit $30 If you need any of these or other art supply items, please shop with us in Oak Cliff, by phone or online. We prepare orders everyday and are happy to find you just what you need.
