Virtual Art Camp: Interactive Live Streaming
Ages 5-12
Mon-Fri July 13-17, 1-4pm 
Local pick-up at Oil and Cotton Tuesday - Friday from 12-4pm

Location: VIRTUAL in Your HOME via zoom
*there will be a screen break from 2-2:20pm, please have a snack available.
This camp is open to friends near and far. Scroll down to choose your best option.

Experiment with a variety of materials and techniques in this classic studio art camp. We will relax in the park of our imaginations as we learn lovely drawing and painting techniques of the plein air Impressionist masters. Picnic with the great Bard, draw his portrait and interpret his canonized words. Create a character puppets, promotional poster for your play, and collaborate with fellow campers to put on a mock amphitheater production, complete with kings and queens, princesses and pucks.

Instructions, a complete schedule, and a link to our livestream will be emailed to you the weekend before camp.

Things you will need to provide from home:
paintbrushes
pencil
extra paper
color pencils, crayons, pencils, pens (optional)
water basin/bowl/or jar
apron/smock/messy art clothes

General Camp Schedule
>1-1:10 Warm Up + Welcome
1:10-1:20 Demo + Learn
1:20-2:00 Making Time (bio and brain breaks as needed)
>2:00-2:20 Screen & Snack Break
2:20-2:45 Studio Visits & Story Times
2:45-3:45 Making Time (bio and brain breaks as needed)
>3:45-4:00 Show and Tell (parents invited)

>these times may require adult or older sibling supervision. we do our best to instruct clean up time, so that students are responsible for their own art studio care. spills are inevitable, but we will are doing our best to help avoid them in the at home, virtual format. thanks for taking on art making at home!
